Session Speakers

  • Amol Borkar is senior product marketing manager for the Tensilica Vision and AI DSP product line in Cadence's IP Group. Previously, he was at Intel's RealSense group, where he held various positions in engineering through to product management and marketing for RealSense's 3D camera product line. Amol has a BS from North Carolina State University, and a MS and PhD from Georgia Tech.

  • Pulin Desai is group director of product marketing in Cadence’s IP Group. He is in charge of product marketing, management and business development of the company’s Tensilica® Vision DSP and AI IP product line. Vision and AI IP provides highly programmable, high-performance, low-power solutions for the embedded vision and AI applications in mobile, AR/VR, automotive, and surveillance camera markets. Desai brings more than 20 years of semiconductor marketing experience to his role. He has worked in the DSP, microprocessor, graphics, flat panel, image processor and sensor markets in product marketing/management and applications engineering capacities. He holds BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from San Jose State University.
