Hongcheng Wang manages the machine learning research team in Comcast Applied AI Research. He and his team focus on developing scalable machine learning and IoT analytics technologies for smart home video and IoT intelligence, and predictive and diagnostic intelligence for customer service, which have been deployed to millions of users, providing an enhanced customer experience. He has published 40+ technical papers and holds 50+ patents and patent applications. He holds a Ph.D. in computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
