Jeff Bier

Jeff Bier is president of BDTI. For over 25 years BDTI has helped hundreds of companies select the right technologies and develop optimized, custom algorithms and software for demanding applications in audio, video, machine learning and computer vision. Jeff also oversees the Edge AI and Vision Alliance, a partnership of 100+ technology companies that works to enable the widespread use of AI and computer vision in edge devices. The Alliance provides practical education resources for product creators and connects product creators with the technologies and resources they need to build AI-enabled products. As part of his role overseeing the Alliance, Jeff is General Chair for the Embedded Vision Summit, the leading conference for developers of systems and applications incorporating visual AI. Jeff earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton and his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley.
