Timofey started his career designing image processing algorithms for mobile cameras and progressed to ISP architecture and design at Samsung. Later he worked at OmniVision developing computational photography solutions for automotive and surveillance applications, including an HDR camera system built around an image sensor with variable pixel exposure. Subsequently, at Tesla he worked on bringing up Tesla’s first in house Autopilot hardware, tuning ISPs for machine vision and developing image processing technology to feed HDR image sensor signals into machine learning hardware using a fixed word size. At Pony.AI he oversees all aspects of imaging for computer vision. Timo’s passion is to create effective machine vision camera systems by bridging imaging and machine vision technologies.
