Alejandro Galindo obtained his Ph.D. in computer vision at the INRIA research center in France. He has spent the past seven years leading R&D teams in France and the USA. He is now focused on autonomous drones and how to integrate them safely into the national airspace. In that effort, along with a brilliant team, he developed novel detection technologies that earned him the MIT Innovation Award in 2017.
