In this session, Dev Singh, Qualcomm Technologies’ GM of Robotics, Drones and Intelligent Machines, will discuss how scaling 5G and AI will help solve a diverse set of robotics challenges—from enabling high-accuracy AI inferencing and superior power efficiency to enhanced security and connectivity. Dev will explain why these advances are key to enabling the robotics ecosystem and accelerating growth in segments from automated guided vehicles, autonomous mobile robots, delivery robots and drones to inventory, industrial, and collaborative robots. Additionally, Dev will highlight recent use cases including how our AI and computer vision technologies are enabling autonomous flight on Mars and enabling your home vacuum robot to map rooms and avoid obstacles.

  • Kishore Chakravadhanula serves as the Staff Product Manager for the robotics, drones and intelligent machines division at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Kishore joined Qualcomm Technologies in 2019 and is responsible for supporting the robotics and intelligent machines team in the IoT business unit, focused on strategy and commercialization. Prior to this role, Kishore spent his career at Texas Instruments, MaxLinear, and Ingenu serving in various engineering and leadership roles for execution, business development, product management and new product development. Kishore holds an MBA from UCLA, M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University, and B.Tech from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum.
