Dr. Andrea Dunbar followed her bachelor’s degree in physics from St. Andrews with a Ph.D. in optics from Trinity College Dublin in 2002. She has over 80 scientific papers published and 10 patents, and in 2016 obtained her eMBA from EPFL. Today she runs the Edge AI and Vision group at CSEM which brings the latest research results in computer vision, machine learning, data analytics and embedded programming into industry, supporting the digitalization process. She also lectures on digitalization in the EPFL eMBA course and is an IEEE reviewer.
