Gareth Cross is an indie game developer working on his first title. Prior to that, he was a technical lead of state estimation at Skydio Inc. At Skydio, he worked on visual-inertial odometry, deep learning for obstacle avoidance, and sensor calibration. He received his MSE in Robotics from The University of Pennsylvania GRASP Lab, where he worked on research in vision-based state estimation and applications of aerial robots to precision agriculture.
