Vladimir Haltakov is a software engineer at BMW working on autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems. He has experience in developing computer-vision-based functions that are deployed in millions of BMWs on the road. He is currently working on vehicle localization for level 2+ and level 3 systems. Vladimir got his Ph.D. in computer vision and machine learning from the Technical University of Munich with focus on semantic segmentation and applications in the automotive domain. He has published several papers in recognized international conferences and journals.
