Bader Alam

Bader Alam is a Director, Software Engineering at AMD, where he is working on acceleration of machine learning and computer vision applications on AMD devices through the development of Xilinx Vitis AI and Xilinx Vitis Vision products. He earned a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Aligarh Muslim University, India (2000). He has over 20 years of industry experience at STMicroelectronics, Synopsys, Cadence, and Xilinx. Prior to ML/Vision acceleration his main research and engineering interests was in electronic design automation, specifically in ASIC and FPGA timing-driven placement and routing algorithms and technologies.
