Richard Chuang

Dr. Richard Chuang is with Intel Corporation focusing on IoT and deep learning platform designs for video analytics and computer vision solutions in the Internet of Things Group. He has held various roles — such as Director of System Architecture and Solutions, Platform Manager, and Sr. Platform Architect — in developing platforms based on architectures such as CPUs, iGPUs, dGPUs, FPGAs and VPUs. He has also developed deep learning and IoT products, and end-to-end solutions for various applications. Richard holds eight U.S. patents and has published more than 90 journal/proceedings papers and white papers. Richard holds two doctorate degrees in engineering from National Taiwan University. He is an IEEE Senior Member.
