Armita Abadian has been with STMicroelectronics since June 2020. She started her career in Silicon Valley as an electronics characterization engineer at Foveon, an image sensor startup. She then moved into a systems validation engineering role for storage chip products at Marvell Semiconductor and then display systems engineering in Qualcomm before transitioning from engineering to technical marketing role in imaging and sensing division in On Semi for the industrial, automotive and medical device markets. In 2020, Armita joined ST’s Imaging team and is currently leading technical marketing and training efforts for imaging products including ToF sensors, image sensors and ambient light sensors for automotive, consumer and industrial markets. She is based in Santa Clara, California. Armita has an MSEE from San Jose State and a BSEE from the University of Tehran.
