Cheng Wang is Senior Vice President and Co-founder of Flex Logix. He earned his B.S. in EECS from, UC Berkeley and his M.S. and Ph.D. in EE from UCLA. Cheng won the 2013 Distinguished Ph.D. Dissertation Award, and the 2014 ISSCC Lewis Winner Award for Outstanding Paper. He has designed five FPGA chips spanning from 90 nm to 40 nm. Cheng also led the architecture, silicon implementation and software development for multiple generations of embedded FPGA (eFPGA) products from 180 nm – 7 nm, as well as engines for neural inferencing. He has been awarded multiple patents at UCLA and Flex Logix.
