Forrest Iandola

Forrest Iandola completed a PhD in EECS at UC Berkeley, and his thesis work focused on squeezing deep neural networks onto mobile devices. His advances in deep learning led to the founding of DeepScale, where he served as CEO until it was acquired by Tesla in 2019. He recently founded Brazzle, which is tackling climate-change by developing a new type of heat pump for heating and cooling homes. The Brazzle heat pump will use AI on the edge to achieve state-of-the-art energy-efficiency.
