Monica Houston

At Avnet, Monica Houston works on enabling machine learning on Avnet’s various platforms. Her present activities include optimizing and benchmarking machine vision at the edge. An avid maker and tinkerer, Monica also founded the Seattle Arduino Meetup and was employee #2 at Hackster.io. She has dabbled in a wide range of technologies, from web development to 3D printing, but she’s most captivated by artificial intelligence and machine learning. She currently attends the University of Washington for her master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
