Tom Michiels has more than two decades of processor design and development experience and is currently a system architect working on the Synopsys DesignWare embedded vision processors. Prior to Synopsys, Mr. Michiels held R&D and research positions at CoWare and K.U. Leuven. He graduated from K.U. Leuven with a licentiaat in computer science.
