Andrew Harris is a spacecraft systems engineer and deep learning subject matter expert at Scout. Andrew’s prior experience spans small satellite GN&C, relative motion modeling, estimation and control, spacecraft systems engineering, and space mission data processing, most recently at Ball Aerospace. His professional interests include proximity operations and inspection, constrained spacecraft design, and ML/AI applications for space missions. He received his PhD in Astrodynamics and Satellite Navigation from the University of Colorado Boulder, funded partially through the NDSEG program. He also holds a Master’s degree from CU Boulder and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo.
