Start Time: 4:15 pm
End Time: 5:20 pm
In this presentation, we will provide an introduction to light detection and ranging (LiDAR) technology. We’ll explain how LiDAR sensors work and their main advantages and disadvantages. We’ll introduce different approaches to LiDAR, including scanning and flash LiDAR. We’ll explore the types of data produced by LiDAR sensors and explain how this data can be processed using deep neural networks. We will also examine the synergy between LiDAR and cameras, and the concept of pseudo-LiDAR for detection.
