Grabango uses pure computer vision to identify every product in the store, understand what they are and know where they are at all times. The Grabango system works seamlessly in ordinary stores without requiring retailers to make any changes to the store’s planogram or merchandising strategies. Grabango’s clients include ALDI, Chevron, Circle K, Copec and 7-Eleven. While Grabango is seeing strong growth, Amazon is pulling back on its Just Walk Out (JWO) technology. Veteran tech journalist Junko Yoshida will catch up with Grabango Founder and CEO Will Glaser to get an update on Grabango’s trajectory and take your questions. Grabango uses state-of-the-art computer vision to eliminate lines and save people time in grocery and convenience stores. Previously, Will co-founded Pandora Media, a pioneer in personalized online radio that deployed the first machine learning algorithm on a large consumer scale. SiriusXM acquired Pandora for $3.5B in 2019. Will also serves on the board of directors for Blue Shield of California, a $22B healthcare company. He graduated from Cornell University, where he was awarded a rare triple major in Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.
