As Director of Artificial Intelligence at Omnilert, Chad Green directs the computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence efforts all designed to save lives with visual gun detection. With the tragic death of a close relative in the Sandy Hook school shooting in 2012, Chad used his extensive military and engineering background to begin work on gun detection software. He joined Omnilert, the pioneers in Emergency Notification Systems, to develop Omnilert Gun Detect that saves lives through early gun detection, mass communication and automated response. Prior to joining Omnilert, Chad spent more than 12 years in multiple roles at Artis, including VP of Engineering. He started his career at Northrop Grumman and BioFire Diagnostics. Chad graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s of Science (honors) in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s of Science in Physics Instrumentation.
