Chris Padwick

Chris Padwick joined Blue River Technology in 2016, where he was the first machine learning engineer for the See & Spray product. Chris leads the Machine Learning team for See & Spray, as well as New Product Development at Blue River. While at Blue River, Chris has received numerous awards related to See & Spray product development, including the President’s Award, Innovation Award, and Financial Health Award, as well as 13 patents. Prior to joining Blue River, Chris worked in the remote sensing industry for 12 years at Maxar (formerly DigitalGlobe), MDA (now MDA Space) and ITT Visual Information Solutions (now a part of NV5 Geospatial Solutions). He held various roles, including software engineer, team lead, researcher and technical fellow. Chris holds an MSc degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of British Columbia, where he worked on balloon-based spectrometer measurements of anisotropies in the cosmic microwave background radiation.
