David Scott

David Scott is a senior machine learning engineer from Canada currently living in New York City and working for Instacart. For three years prior to joining Instacart, he was busy exploring Asia (living in Beijing and Singapore) and working as a machine learning engineer and an entrepreneur. David joined Instacart as a Machine Learning Engineer in the Caper team, where he helps support ML infrastructure, computer vision and other infrastructure and back-end projects related to machine learning. Outside of work he loves sports and language learning. David is currently studying Spanish and rounding out his Chinese. He’s excited to be prepping for and running the Boston and New York Marathons again in 2024.
