István Fehérvári

István Fehérvári is an AI scientist, engineer and independent consultant with over 15 years of experience. Armed with a PhD in artificial intelligence, he has published papers at top venues and authored two patents in AI-based real-time video encoding. István has contributed to AI solutions ranging from mobile robots to large cloud-based AI systems at start-ups and major companies, including Intel and Amazon. In his previous role, István led a team of 35+ machine learning engineers at Canada’s largest retailer. In April, István joined Benchsci as Director of Data&ML and is focusing on building a generative AI platform for pharma R&D.
