Rebecca Li

Dr. Rebecca Li, ML Engineering Manager at Adobe for GenAI Scientific Evaluation, was one of the Engineering Co-founders and the Release Tech Lead of the Firefly monorepo SDK, which was launched as Adobe’s groundbreaking AI art generation tool. Dr. Li’s role established the monorepo as the definitive source of truth for Firefly model development and deployment, fostering close collaboration with evolving research architectures and rapid adaptation to changing product requests. She has been instrumental in fostering the growth of the Firefly community from a small team to support over 100 researchers and engineers. Dr. Li consolidates stakeholder feedback, oversees releases and stabilizes the code base. Her visionary leadership streamlines workflows, enhancing efficiency and transparency. Before joining Adobe, she completed her PhD at the University of Houston in 2020. Her diverse professional domain experiences cover creative image generation, medical image processing, self-driving cars and oil and gas.
