In this session, we’ll explore how embedded vision is being used in industrial applications, including vehicle safety and production. We’ll highlight some of the challenging requirements of these applications, including the need for low latency, high accuracy and robustness in diverse environments. Using real-world examples, we’ll explain the critical role of 3D perception and show how emerging technologies such as digital twins, transformer neural network architectures and retrieval-augmented generation are being used to enable important new capabilities and improved accuracy in industrial applications.

Sabri Bayoudh
Chief Innovation Officer, Arcure
Passionate about artificial intelligence and new technologies, Sabri Bayoudh dedicated his education to AI and obtained a PhD at the University of Rennes (France) in 2007. With expertise in AI and computer vision, he began his career at the CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission), one of the most innovative research institutes in the world. Later he joined Arcure, a French company pioneering and leading the field of AI applied to industry, and became its Technical Director in 2012. After completing his education with an Executive MBA at HEC in 2020, Sabri created the Innovation Department at Arcure, which he now heads. A member of the Management Committee and the Strategic Committee, he plays a critical role in developing and expanding disruptive AI innovations to create value for his company and its industrial customers.
