Part 1: Intel’s Edge Insights for Industrial: Intel’s Edge Insights for Industrial is a production-validated enabling software stack to securely ingest, analyze, and store video and time-series data at the edge. With simplified AI deployment at the edge, factories can improve operational and production efficiency. We will explore the production-quality software packages that comprise the Edge Insights for Industrial stack. We’ll also highlight pre-validated hardware configurations for video and time-series data ingestion, on-the-edge data storage and predictive analytics for factories. Together, these hardware configurations and optimized, containerized packages enable sensing, analytics, machine vision, automation and more.
Part 2: Case Study Tutorial: In part 2 of this workshop we will take a deeper dive into the capabilities of Edge Insights for Industrial via a tutorial utilizing a defect detection application example. In this example, printed circuit boards (PCBs) are inspected via video for quality control, including detection of missing components and short circuits. Through this tutorial, you will learn how to begin using Edge Insights for Industrial, including how to visualize the results of an application. And, you’ll learn how this PCB inspection application works.
Part 3: The Intel Edge Software Hub: The Intel Edge Software Hub is a one-stop resource for software and optimized use case-specific packages to streamline development for AI at the edge. In part 3 of this workshop, learn how you can use these packages to customize, validate and deploy solutions faster and with greater confidence.
NOTE: Approval and an NDA on file with Intel is required to attend this workshop. You will receive confirmation of approval and NDA information in a subsequent email.
Who should attend?
AI application developers with existing or planned systems that can benefit from increased performance and efficiency.
Date/Time: Wednesday, September 23 – 9:00 am – 1:30 pm
