Chris Sarantos, PhD, is a recognized expert on optical instruments and sensors. He has worked on ultrafast optical recording for fusion diagnostics; wearable consumer heart rate and blood oxygenation sensors; reading home health test strips with phone cameras; remote sensing and computer vision for agriculture and firefighting applications; and robotic cat toys. Chris has held senior research positions at multiple companies and is currently an Independent Consultant working with Think Circuits on early wildfire detection.
