José Benítez is Founder and Chief AI Officer at Intuitivo, where he leads the development of large-scale, real-world vision AI systems for autonomous retail. An electrical engineer and machine learning specialist, José was recognized as an MIT Innovator Under 35 in 2022. He is a member of the IEEE Computer Society and the Computer Vision Foundation, and presented at the 2025 OpenCV-SID Conference on Computer Vision & AI (OSCCA) in San Jose.
