Frantz Lohier has 24 years of experience in the tech sector, spanning consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, medical imaging, digital TV and IoT. He is a technologist, entrepreneur, product owner and growth strategist. At AWS, he is Senior WW Strategist for Robotics with the mission to identify and incubate new AWS businesses that leverage advanced computing and AI. Prior to joining AWS, Dr. Lohier was Chief Architect at iRobot, CTO of a large automotive Tier 1 (FORVIA Group) and worked on several novel products at Qualcomm Technologies and Samsung. Dr. Lohier obtained a master’s in Robotics and a PhD in Signal Processing from Sorbonne University (France). He has 12+ issued patents and recently authored a book on the business of innovating.
