Simon Morris is a serial tech entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience leading three venture-backed start-ups from seed stage to commercialization, production wins and successful exits. His teams have developed breakthrough multimedia, image and computer vision processing technologies. Simon is currently an executive advisor and board member to multiple deep-tech start-ups in edge AI, computer vision processing and semiconductors, primarily focused on automotive and industrial markets. He is also a Mentor with the Creative Destruction Lab, an Executive Advisor to Connected Vision Advisors (investment banking) and a Limited Partner with Mistral Venture Partners. He was an EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and was awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration while serving in the Royal Canadian Navy. Simon holds MEng and BEng degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada and is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario.
