Bob Kunz is Chief Architect at Ambarella, where he has defined and led the company’s AI architecture since its first generation of products. His work spans image and video processing, computer vision and edge AI platforms for smart cameras, automotive and embedded systems. Before Ambarella, Bob spent nearly a decade at Stanford University, working under John Hennessy on large-scale systems. Today, he guides the next generation of Ambarella’s AI silicon. Bob joined Ambarella in 2004, the year of its founding, and has worked on all major components of the company’s SoC architecture, including image processing, video processing and CVflow. Kunz currently leads the architecture team. In 2004, he earned a PhD in Computer Architecture from Stanford University.

Rajan Mistry is a Senior Staff Engineer based in San Diego, focused on developer enablement and ecosystem growth for AI, robotics and edge computing. He works at the intersection of hardware, software and machine learning, helping developers build real-world physical AI systems that sense, reason and act. Rajan has extensive experience supporting developers across robotics, embedded vision and on-device AI platforms, including hands-on workshops, hackathons and large-scale developer programs. His work spans end-to-end developer journeys, from prototyping with sensors and robotics platforms to deploying AI models on constrained edge devices for real-time perception and control. He regularly collaborates with start-ups, researchers and partners to bring physical AI concepts into practical applications such as autonomous systems, robotic perception and human-machine interaction. Rajan brings a pragmatic, developer first-perspective on building and scaling intelligent robotic systems in the real world.

Vlad Branzoi has been building vision systems for robots, mixed reality, vehicles and a variety of other real-time systems for over 20 years, starting with his graduate work at Columbia University on programmable imaging and optical and light space manipulation. He spent 10 years working in cutting-edge vision systems R & D for DoD projects before moving to the commercial world. Since then he’s worked at several start-ups and large companies on robotic vision systems, from prototype to production and deployment. Vlad currently leads the sensors team at Agility Robotics, a leading humanoid robotics company.
